I know that I have seen information on changing the color of a rod blank but can not for the life of me find it now. Where can I find info on this and is it even recomended? I am trying to come up with some orginal ideas on a rod for my son that is a huge Univerisity of Texas fan. ( hookem' horns). I was thinking of a burnt orange blank with white and black wraps. any suggestion would help to. I also want to say thanks to all that have replied to my other question before everyone has been a great help.
Merry Christmas to everyone and my God bless each and everyone of your families.

Kevin

People have had good luck with the polyurethane auto paints and the Krylon paint for plastics. I'm sure there are others.

I own a body shop and refinish or change the colors of blanks regularly. If you have any problems or questions feel free to email me.
