I looking to build a 10wt 4piece fast action fly rod. I am looking at a St. Croix sc4 or a Lamiglas ti2000/im700 fly. Which blank do you guys think is better. Or maybe the Dan Craft ft? Thanks Mike Re: 9' 10wt 4 piece fly rod blank

I would highly recommend the Dan Craft FT. I have a FT 1010-4 that I built a year ago. Have fished it a lot since then and it is the best rod in that weight class that I have ever had. Built it as a switch rod, single or two handed. Re: 9' 10wt 4 piece fly rod blank

If you want a FAST rod , the Dan Craft is that . I can not speak for your other choices other than I own a SC4 2 pc 4 wt , which is a bit slow for my liking . I'm currently building a 12wt Hook & Hackle XT51 which is a super fast blank with all the guides taped on and throwing a 400 gr ST line. Not to sure if Bob has any left , but when I got mine at the end of the summer , the price was defenitly right . You can never go wrong with one of Dans FT either . Have fun , John Got Fish ?
