I have just come across some clear nylon thread it is about equal to size A thread what I am thinking is invisible wraps , any comments?

What you'll get is silver colored wraps, not invisible wraps. I don't want to deter you from trying it, but in my experience and all the various clear nylons I've tried the result has been a wrap with a silver sheen - you can see the guide foot, but you can also see the thread.

Yeah, I got some comments. I want to do the same thing. I have encountered just what Tom said. If you find a way, besides no thread and a clear coat of epoxy, to make a truly invisible wrap, keep it to yourself, and start pushing them babies out the door. Fine white silk is the best medium for giving a transparent wrap. It will turn transparent when you hit it with finish.

I wonder how it would work on a chrome silver rod shaft , and yea if I ever figure it out , you could be the first to know bro!
