Do it yourself screw in rear grips? (aka removable fighting butts)

I've used the Forecast and Struble line of screw in rear grips to make my fly rods more "versatile". I'm looking at doing a more "custom" look though, and I can't find just the bare hardware. I'm experiementing with using a threaded bolt with a brass lock washer, but it doesn't look to good. As such, I've gone on a hunt to see if something better is out there. So far rivet bolts and flush bolts look promising, but I'm still hoping that someone would knows of something better. Other than that, it would be nice to know where I can get the raw kits from Struble or Forecast.

Try the sponsor's list and if you can't find the hardware try Don Burgess in Washington State here is his emai address
Donandgina@msn.com I'm sure he can get it if he does not have any handy.

James

Try Home Depot at the hardware department. Screws and bolts - " special hard to find " screws and bolts. They have a femail and mail bolt that a handle can be made out of. Takes a 1/4 " thread

Batson sells the actual hardware.

You should be able to order it from anyone who carries Batson.

I picked up the hardware for one at Mudhole I believe. I think it was Amtak, but not sure.
