The wrapping / finish "clean" portion of my workshop gets pretty cold at times. It's been just about in the single digits here at night. What I usually do is take my water-based color preserver out of the shop into thre warm part of the house when it's cold, but sometimes I forget.
What I want to know is how sensitive is U-40 Color Lock 2? Will i be able to tell if it's been spoiled by the temperature? If there's any doubt, I always order a new bottle, but I'd like some perspectives guys and gals. Josh Markvan www.markvanheirloom.com Re: Frozen Color Lock 2

If it freezes, you'll know it. It'll be a block of rubber, never to return to a useable form. Don't worry, you'll know.

how about putting some of it in another container and keeping that other container in a warm place, . This way you have some in the shop and if you forget to take it out at night and it freezes you still have some more.
Or always buy two. Re: Frozen Color Lock 2
