Would anybody know a good guide spacing for a 10’ line 4/5, two pieces with only 11 guides?
I have a good one but with 12 guides and I think it’s too much. The rod has a fast action/stiff-butted, but its quickness to respond is not really fast…. Re: guide spacing ???

Bill,
It should help me but it is very similar to the method I have first used and I was not really convinced by the result. Anyway, there are some improvements in Tom's method compared to my method, and they are likely to help me. Thanks Re: guide spacing ???

Trust your results - in most cases they'll be as good or better than the spacing on commercially made rods.
I don't think 12 guides is necessary too many for a 10' rod, but try again with your best set of 11 and see how it casts and feels for you. ........... Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
