trim on Forham wraps

I'm building a spinning rod with single foot guides and plan on using the Forham locking wrap. I would like to put on silver trim wraps. Can I put a trim wrap on the end of the Forham wrap?

It shouldn't be a problem. You may need to experiment a little depending on the method you use.

Hi Stan! I used the nail knot method on my last rod and I really liked it. Thanks

That method should work with the Forhan wrap as the trim band can be wrapped and then slid into place. I only trim on the ramp end of the guide but see no reason it couldn't be applied on either end.

I do it the way Stan suggests. Put the band with the nail knot, slide it into place an tighten it down. I put a tiny dab of CP on the "knot" to hold it in place (some use Super Glue on a pin) I use Forhan wraps and put the trims on both ends of the wrap
