Low and behold this months Field and Stream new stuff for 06 there it is.
Who might offer the blank? Is there a way one might finish a blank with a como tone to it?

Check the photo page under Tom Kirkman's name. He made some of these a good while back. Also seems like somebody was making and offering such blanks lately. Not sure who though.

Tom, I am too looking for a Camo blank. I contacted Scott from Rod Blanks.com because they have offered them. Below is the response I got on 2 December. I think we need someone out there to do custom colors along with camo.

We should be up and running around May, maybe sooner. We should be able to give estimates around March, when we get all of our equipment. We will be able to do any size blank and in multiple pieces as well. Turn around time will be probably 1-2 weeks depending on how many you send at one time.

Diamondback also sold camo blanks for a while, they may still have some at the Cortland store site.

Hi Everyone we were having another company camo our blanks at first but turn around time was terrible so we have begun to start up a new company that will allow us to Camo almost any rod blank that is sent to us or out of our own inventory. We will be also offering wood grain and woven graphites patterns.
We are working very hard at getting this going and designing our own equipment so that in will allow us to do longer blanks but we will also do reel seats and guns, bows, what ever.
Thanks we look forward to serving your needs.
