Although I've built alot of fly rods, I need input on an area I'm not sure I know enought about; blanks of more than 4 pieces. Due to storage and travel constraints, I need to build two 9 foot fly rods of 5 or more pieces, one 4 weight and one 6 weight. Any recommendations?
Thanks, Tim Re: 5 piece (or more) fly blanks recommendations

Tim: I suggest you look at the Dan Craft's Five Rivers 5-piece blanks or even consider his 7-piece blanks. I have a 4/5 and a 5/6 7-piece rods and like them very much. They fit into a briefcase and cast really, really well. I usually carry both when traveling.
Best of luck. Aaron Re: 5 piece (or more) fly blanks recommendations

I second the vote for Dan Craft Five Rivers blanks. Excellent quality and a great guy to do business with.
