So, I have a large number of a couple of different models of reelseat. I purchased them as a part of a lot and would like to find out anything I can about them (eg manufacturer, previously intended purpose, any rods they may have been used on in the past, etc). I have posted several pictures on a page on my website. If you all would be kind enough to take a look at them and tell me what I have, I would appreciate it! I have no idea how I am going to use all these things, so as a 'reward', the person who tells me what they are (verifiably, that is!) will recieve their choice of 10 of them.
Here is a link to some pictures I took: [www.thelongestcast.com] Thanks for any possible help. Scott Kinney The Longest Cast Fly Rods [www.thelongestcast.com] Re: Identify these reelseats, please!!!

They appear to be the hardware for fly rod reel seats ...you furnish or make the insert. Re: Identify these reelseats, please!!!

I would bet the "C" stamped on them would stands for "Courtland".

Thanks all for your help. I had guessed Cortland slide bands too but who knows. The uplocking ones are the things that really perplex me. They kind of look like fly seats and definitely can work as such...but just don't seem quite 'right'.
I have never seen them on a rod but then again the stock looked to be a few years old so the series could have been long discontinued. Anyway, if you all want a couple of them, email me your address using the board and I'll send some out.
