Problems Getting Pac Bay Items

Hello All,

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! Has anyone else been having any trouble getting Pac Bay components? I have been having trouble all of 2005 and it's getting frustrating. It's not from one supplier, either. I can understand a week or two for backorders, but months is not acceptable.

I sent Pac Bay an e-mail a couple of days ago and haven't heard back yet, but I just wanted to know if it is just me or if others are in the same boat.

Thanks,

Phil Ptak

I ordered about $500 dollars worth of Pac Bay stuff, blanks, components and had it all in less than 2 weeks. Had a few things had to ship out later, but got it all no problem just last week...

i generally find a supplier who is located near pac bay's headquarters. seems to work fine for me and vendors i choose always state that even though an item is not in stock, they can get it immediately because of the proximity.

Some times the only thing you can do is try several until you find the level of service you like then stay with them. Find out who Putter uses ?

There are so many components from sa many suppliers/Manufacturers you have to expect delays as shops cannot have massive stock in EVERYTHING. Good things come to those who wait, I ratehr order from somoene who tells me up front there's gonna be a delay, than someone who says they have it and it's months before you get it...adn then you're charged an additional shipping charge just to make you want to order from them never ever again, lol.

Ya have to find suppliers that call or email you if they don't have some thing. The people I deal with do. That at least gives me the option to find it else where.

Calling in orders usually is best.
