Removing fine sanding dust from CA

Any tips on how to remove fine CA dust and wood dust from sanding when it gets into the very fine "micro" grain in the wood. I would prefer not to use mutltiple coats of CA glue just one. Sometimes more coats just does not fill the micro cracks. I have tried using CA with wet sanding but I get CA glue where I don't want it. I don't mind the grain and even the little imperfections in the wood because that is part of the wood--but I just can't stand the lite colored dust which gets into those tiny imperfections. tack rags are sticky and leave residue.

thanks

John I'm not sure what CA dust is but in over 20 yrs building and finishing custom furniture I have found that and old t shirt well washed and dampened with toluene was the best thing for picking up sanding sealer dust. That dust is as fine as you can get I think and it is a constant battle to get it out of minute pores in wood between finishes. If you want to try toluene be sure to wear plastic or latex gloves and use it in a well ventilated area. Also it sometimes is not on hardware store shelves because kids have been known to sniff it for a high (Someone should take them fishing) so you have to ask for it. Hope this helps. gregg

An old toothbrush run over the wood in the direction of the grain will get it out. Very easy and very simple to do.
