Looking for a 5'6" - 5'8", 3-4 piece casting rod ?
Will throw 1/32 - 3/16 oz weight.

Mud-Hole 2005 Catalog page 32:
ST.CROIX SC-II GRAPHITE SPINNING ROD BLANKS
(SATIN BLACK FINISH)
Trout / Walleye / Panfish
MUD-HOLE Catalog #: 2S-60-LF-4
ST.CROIX MODEL #: PS-60-LF-4
Length: 6'0" 4-pieces
Power: LIGHT Taper-Action: FAST
Line Rating: 4-8# test
Lure Rating: 1/16th - 5/16ths oz.
BUTT OD: 0.310" TIP-TOP OD: 4.5 /64ths inches
Blank weight: 1.15 oz ... $68.

This is the ONLY 6-foot rod blank in the M-H 2005 Catalog that has 4-pieces, and that is reasonably close to your desired line & lure rating. There are a couple of other 3-piece rods at M-H, but they are heavier in power, and of longer overall length, and therefore even longer segments (~ 20 inches, verses over 26 inches).

If this blank doesn't seem quite right or light enough, then consider the use of the upper sections of a multi-piece, lite-weight fly rod. That may fit the bill, too. Lots of options with that approach. Maybe Neal's or some other Sponsor has more options than this one blank. But this one St.Croix does seems very close to your request, which is probably a 2-6# UL, verses this rod SC-II PS-60-LF-4, which is a 4-8# LF.

Good luck, Bill - and remember to "seal the deal" before you get overly wrapped up in further speculation. -Cliff Hall+++

Batson's RX6 SB 720-4. Spin bass travel rod. 6ft, 4pce, 4-8 lb. Fast action, casts up to 5/16th oz easily.
I liked this blank very much: nice fine tip to throw lighter lures, but heaps of power coming in the first 1/3 of the curve. It takes a lot to pull into the butt of this rod.
Mine was built as a spinner, but I'm sure it would make a nice light casting rod for lighter baits.
