Volume 5 #6 had the article on building stand up rods. Most people get them in about a week, give or take a day or so either way.

To SEARCH for a BACK-ISSUE of ROD-MAKER Magazine (RMM) which may have an ARTICLE of interest to you:
GO-TO the RBO LIBRARY Link at the TOP of any RBO Page, and CLICK [www.rodbuilding.org]. Then LQQK through this TABLE of CONTENTS (ToC) for the RBO Library. Among the Articles listed, right at the TOP of the ToC are two file-versions of the same information: RMM-DIRECTORY (*.XLS): [www.rodbuilding.org] RMM-INDEX (*.HTML): [www.rodbuilding.org] From the Index (*.HTML) version, you can CLICK&DRAG and COPY out the text, and PASTE it into a New MS-WORD Document. Once SAVED AS, you can use EDIT / FIND to SEARCH within the *.DOC to discover topics of interest. From the Directory (*.XLS) version, you can also use the EDIT / FIND feature to SEARCH within the *.XLS file to find your targets. Read thru the RMM Directory, and you are sure to discover several more RMM Articles which you would like to order. At only $7 each, ordering Back-Issues of RMM is a great way to build you own Archives, knowledge and rod-building skills. AJ - If you are thinking about Spiral Wrapping a Stand-Up rod, then you should consider two other Back-Issues of RMM
RMM-6(5): Vol.-6, #5: Spiral Wrap Transitions (Tom Kirkman) Rod Building Techniques and Methods RMM-8(2): Vol.-8, #2: The Simple Spiral - "Bumper System" (Bill Colby) Rod Building Techniques and Methods When you consider that it costs most fisherman hundreds of $$$ to get a bait in front of any kind of tuna, the $14 for two back- issues is a small investment in the success of your trip. IMO, Cliff Hall+++ Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
