Been fishing a G. Loomis 1084 for salmon and striper and just love it. I built 2 cascade 1086 blanks and they seem to be exactly the same as the Loomis. Put 8 oz weight on both and had the exact same bend. they measured the same except for the butt section that was 37 thousandth larger on Loomis. They are great trolling rods and now I have people who want same rods. I can't get the cascades any longer and the G. Loomis is a little pricey. Love the sensitive tip and good back bone on these rods. Are there any blanks out there that have same properties at a more affordable price. They are 9'ers. Thanks in advance ED.... Sure you can, just order a Rainshadow RISA 1086F from one of our fine sponsors. I assumed you were talking about the SAR 1084 Loomis. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
