I haven't used Gudebrod nor know anyone that has but I would like to mention that ALL finishes do what they are supposed to do and work pretty well but they all have their own characteristics and each has a learning curve. Finish problems are generally due to the way it is applied.

What problems have you been having? If you have problems with one, you will probably have problems with another. The trick is to perfect a method than stick with it until you get consistant results>

I've used the gudebrod finish, it works well but in all cases it has left a oil like swirl in the final product. Didn't matter how much I mixed it, it still came out swirly.

I've used the gudebrod finishes without problem-seemed to set up hard a little faster than flexcoat-kinda threw me off when i mixed it and it looked slighty blue-green but cured out colorless-at least as near as i could tell on the blue wraps I was doing.

Now I use Gudebrod Regular. Comparing to FC Lite I used before, it takes a little more time to set up but gives some more time to work as well
