Does anybody know the blank number of the Skeet Reese Lamiglas rod; It's the yellow 7' crankbait glass rod # SR705R. Re: Lamiglas blank number

I always thought that it was the one of the SSP blanks as that's the ones many of us use. But about 2 weeks ago I tweaked the tip of one of those rods for the first time and it feels more moderate like the BXC blanks I've used. Todd Vivian at Lamiglas would know, also Angler's Workshop right across from them has a list I've used many times with the info. Re: Lamiglas blank number

Bryan -- One piece of information that the fine folks at Lamiglas provided for us as blanks distributors, was a rod to blank conversion chart. The blank that makes up the model you have mentioned is the MB 84 1E. It is a glass blank and offered in honey gold, black or white gloss finish. Just let us know if we can be of any help assisting you with the blank model.

Guys,
one other thing, for 2006 we have this model available in 7'6" and 8'. Evidently these were needed for Jerk Bait Rods and for some larger crank baits. While these are not listed in our 2005 catalog we do have them in stock (only in black) and can be purchased through any of our dealers or distributors. BMB901E 7'6" BMB961E 8'0" Thanks, Todd Regards, Todd Vivian Mud Hole Custom Tackle todd@mudhole.com Re: Lamiglas blank number

Thanks for the help. I knew it was not an SSP as I use thes for my Green Bay smallie spinnerbait rods. It will cast a 1/2 oz. blade across the bay. Pretty important I might add with the gin clear water up there. I can't wait to get my hands on one of those yellow blanks, thanks again, Bryan Re: Lamiglas blank number

The MB841E is a great blank. A couple of years ago, I built a light saltwater rod out of this blank. I cut it down to 6'4" by cutting 8" off the butt. I cast one ounce poppers for stripers with it and in the summer I use it to catch fluke (summer flounder) off the beaches. I was actually trying to recreate an old Shakespeare Wonderod designed by Gadabout Gaddis called a "Gadabout Special". It has turned out to be one of my favorite rods. Re: Lamiglas blank number

Here in Italy in the last year many fishers are using the 7'6" G1359 Russian River for Sea Spinning, with great satisfaction.
Could be really interesting to buy this blank, for mount it with inox, or Ti, or single bridge rings. I searched in G1000 in 2005 catalog on line, but I did not find a similar blank. May be it will be available in next future? Thanks Armando Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
