What looks good on a black blank that goes with the primary wrap of cobalt blue? I'm thinking a sliver of light blue or light grey followed by a tad of medium blue. Or maybe Chargers colors of a sliver of white followed by a tad of goldenrod. Re: Wrap Colors

Wrap some colors on a scrap blank, smear on some vegetable oil and see what looks good to you. It's your rod, so if you want to use hot pink and neon green, go for it. Re: Wrap Colors

Metallic gold and scarlet red make a nice combo with cobalt blue. Ed Re: Wrap Colors

Leon:
Orange is a complementary color to Blue. You also may try the triad colors of Red and Gold to complement the blue wrappings. Take a look at a color wheel and see what complements the dark blue. Doug Weber Weber Rod Works Re: Wrap Colors
