perma gloss on threads

i am in the middle of my first attempt at this.this is very tricky to get the hang of. just like what tom wrote hit it and get off it.i think i got it.after quite a few tries.it doesn't strart to look like a even surface untill about 4 or 5 coats then it starts to show some depth.i think the hardest part is me wanting to stay on it too long and using too much at first .especially on the thread edges.i found that if i go over the edge too much i can wipe it down with denatured alcohol and it leaves a nice clean edge. will this harm the perma gloss at all?

Kenny;' If you mean that you are cleaning the excess off the blank to leave a nice clean edge next to your wraps the answer is no it won't hurt the Permaglos.
