I have a customer that wants a 3 or 4 piece spinning rod, 6' to 6' 6" in length, for 4-8 lb line & 1/16 to 1/4 oz lures. I understand it will primarily be for jig fishing. Multi piece spinning blanks are rare to say the least. I've only found a SC II that's a 4pc 6' for essentially these specs. I believe Sage offers a 6' 3pc for 4-10 lb line & 1/8 to 3/8 oz lures but I think the price is too much. Any other blank suggestions would be very appreciated. The ones you listed along with the 6 ft 6 in St Croix 4-10 3 piece are the only ones I know about. Specialty rods lead to specialty prices. Have fished the Sage blank and the 1 piece they used to make it's a dandy jig rod for walleye. Orvis used to sell a multi piece also, but I don't think you can get them anymore. Not even sure if they make spinning rods anymore. CTS can probably come up with something for you, but I think you'd be near the Sage price, Andy at Lamar Reelseats can tell you. Thanks very much for your input. I was unaware of the Batson alternative. Re: Multi piece spinning rod blank suggestions

Dave, the Batson RX6 Ron mentioned is a great little blank. Nice and tippy, fast action, with lots of power in the mid to butt area. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
