float rod guides what to use???

hello guys looking for info on what guides to use i see alot of high frame then some set up like fly rods. im going to build on a 13 ft rod any info would be great as to what guides would be best for the task as this is something i havent got into yet thanks........... Robert crabtree

yeah guess i should have been more specific im building a rod for float fishing with a centerpin reel line 8 to 12 lb main.. for steelhead .........going to make fairly long casts

I don't think you can go wrong with the Fuji concept guides. The alconites are what we use on our factory rods and we have gotten a good response to them.

I like the highest frame guides that forecast i forget the model #. They are great and i love the colors they come in. Also i am a fan of Pac Bay CMSG for Sic and BMHG for ceramic. I have built over 20 float rods with these guides and have had no complaints. Everyone loves them. hope this helps.

thanks for the help guys from what i could dig up and how im going to be fishing regular guides seem to be the way to caution searhing and reading after 5 hours causes blindness.......tight wraps crabtree's customs
