I'm looking for a lamp assembly which will fit the Renzetti lathe bed. Seems like I have seen such advertised but Renzetti says it's not their item. Thanks for your help, Gary.

Goodwin Manufacturing is no longer in business. The company was bought by a friend of mine and is now located a few doors down from me. Giraffe Lighting Systems by Masco Medical. They will be in Charlotte at the big National Rod Building Show.

Having the lamp on a base attached to your lathe bed is just one more thing to have to more around the thread carriage and other rod supports. But, you could certainly fasten such a lamp to a standard Renzetti lathe base if you wanted.

Give some thought to an overhead track or tube from which a lamp of flourescent unit could be hung and moved along the length of the bed as you work. Might take a bit more thought and work, but in the end you'd have a great lighting system there.
