Rod and blank rack
Posted by: Jeff Hunter (---.direcpc.com)

I'm building a stand-up rack for my rods and blanks and am looking for the little rubber "grabbers" for the top of the rack. Does anyone know where these are available from? I thought about just using a strip of rubber and cutting a slit in front of each recess but would rather go with the individual holders of I can find them.

Thanks,

Jeff Hunter

I just drilled holes in the rack and inserted 1/4 inch o-ring material in the holes. Made them long and cut to fit after I had test drove it some. Auto /truck parts stores have it in bulk so you can build your own o-rings in the field.

I build these in lots of 12 and sell locally. I do not use the rubber clip but employ a leverage system to keep them in place. If you would like to see a picture e-mail me:

They are solid pine with casters and are rust proof fasteners, not plywood or composites.
