One question, ever try it on a spin seat ??

I know a while back Tom posted a split marble insert on a spinning seat, so I'm pretty sure it could be done.

I have seen all the nice spin seats he has done, but just got the new issue of the mag and saw the seets done in there, so was just wondering. I just did not want to cut any up myself.

Fuji reel seats cost less than $5 per, you could practice on 3 or 4 and it would cost less than it does to have internet access for a month.

I have the article too, and was surprised leaving the top of teh seat intact will support the blank enough to prevent it from breaking like a totally split seat.
