Guys and Gals, It is great to have this forum. I have not been building for too long, but could never quite picture how epoxy was applied at high speed. Then I finally got some blank scraps, put some wraps on it, set my power wrapper to what I thought was about 200 rpm and gave it a whirl. There is only 1 thing to say A-MA-ZING. I couldn't believe the difference and ease of application as compared to doing it at 9rpms like I had been. I just want to say thank you to everyone on this forum for all of your great help. I can certainly never give back what I take, but I will do everything I can to do so. Thank you sooo much. Scott Parsons Re: HIGH SPEED EPOXY APPLICATION

This is one thing that really does defy logic - after I watched the Allstar people finish a seven foot trout rod with a 6 inch butt wrap, seven guides and a tip top wrap in a total of 11 seconds - two guys to a rod spinning at Flexcoats 200 rpm - I was hooked. Clean edges just seem to happen on their on - I totally agree with your post if everything is flat. On a butt wrap with a lot of thread crossings I will spin the rod to get the finish on and then stop it for a few minutes on four axis to level before going on drying speed of three rpm
Gon. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
