All Star Elite blanks

Once again, I forgot my last name on my first post, sorry about that.
Hi, I'm cuurently about to build my first rod and have the oportunity to buy an 9' #6 4-pc All Star Elite blank quite cheap. Can anybody tell me something about these blanks? Are they worth buying? How would you characterize these, moderate, fast? Thanks a lot, Lutz Re: All Star Elite blanks

These are good, middle of the road blanks. Most have action angles in the neighborhood of about 58 to 62 so they're not terribly fast, but they cast very well and are easy to handle. I doubt you'd be disappointed in the performance. Good blanks at reasonable prices.
