Sort of a silly question but one that I never thought of before.
I want to build a couple of 7.5-8' flipping sticks this winter and was just wondering if the blanks come as two separate pieces or are they in the finished telescope set-up? Re: Flipping Stick blanks

Dear Richrad,
I built one of these a couple of months ago, using a G. Loomis FS904X-GL3 blank. I posted some pictures in the photo section. Both pieces were included in the blank price. Daniel Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/06/2005 07:37AM by Daniel Rotea. Re: Flipping Stick blanks

You can get them both ways. Although 1-piece models are a little harder to find.
Better to have and not need than to need and not have. Re: Flipping Stick blanks

If you are buying a blank that has a telescopic handle, the pieces both come with the blank, but are loose from each other. You can mount your handle and reelseat on the short section then slip the rest of the blank through the handle to finish off the rod. Just make sure you do not put your butt cap on before you slip the blank through the handle, bad experience there for myself. Re: Flipping Stick blanks

For a TELESCOPING Flippin' Stick:
the catalog usually lists it as "1+1" Pieces. -Cliff Hall+++ Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
