Seems like all you need is a length of N/S tubing of the proper diameter and a N/S skeleton seat and you'll be set! Contact Golden Witch (a fine Sponsor on the list to the left). They ought to be able to fix you up with all you need including lots of expertise.

Hi Larry,
not really - the new Wright & Mcgill rod company still offer their rods with the old style NS reel seat - I just got this old WM reel seat on @#$%& []

and I have a discontinued Struble U19 all NS reel seat - its like the U20 just all NS

I've been looking everywhere but these are the only ones I've found - maybe get a custom made from Venneri or someone ??

Peter

thanks for the replies. i was told by the folks at golden witch to scour some antique malls and find some very old rod and strip the seat off. guess no one makes one due to lack of demand.

Did you try inserts by Les? (see left) Seems like I saw some in his stuff once when I was
looking for some similar things.

Larry,
I have available, NS reel seats (supply limited) similar to those used on rods from days past.
4" mounted length...
All NS Barrel, pocketed slide band, lock nut, cork check, and pocketed butt cap.
The I.D. of the barrel is 0.650".
The seat weighs 1.326 ounces and is a downlock.
The lock nut and cork check feature a Diamond Knurl pattern.
REC can also engrave the barrel, slide, or butt cap if you wish.
If you are interested, I can be reached at (877) 339-7894.

Larry,

I have a NS reel seat that I took off a old bamboo rod. It is 4 1/2" long, 3/4" ID, end cap and slide ring. It needs a little polishing but otherwise it is in good condition.

If you are interested email me @ crookbob@msn.com
