rod finish residue

rod building pros,
i want to know what is the easiest way to take off rod finish residue after i stripped my fishing rod. the finish residue is hard to take off . thanks for your time. jason Re: rod finish residue

I just did that and to get the residue off, I filed a V on the edge of an old plastic paint brush that I use for applying epoxy and then wiped down with alcohol and that combo cleaned it up pretty good. Re: rod finish residue
