Hi all
I have a question to do with the life span of CP and flex Coat . My father has some CP that is many years old and I was just wondering if it would still be any good? The flex coat is only about 6 years old will that still be any good? Any help would be appreciated
Thank you
Tyler

If you want to trust it, best thing is to put it on a small wrap on a test blank. Flex coat CP can be thinned out with water if need to. Or just order some more.

The epoxy wil be fine. Check the resin to make sure it hasn't crystalized. If it has, heat it in a pan of very hot water until it returns to normal.

The CP may be okay, but like any water based product, if any has evaporated it may be overly thick. I'd probably opt to replace at least the CP.

Thank you both Bill and Tom I had figured that the flex coat would be fine but the CP was what i was unsure of.

CP cost hardly anything, I just have done a rod with old CP and now I regret it. Throw the CP and keep the epoxy and do as what Tom said.
