Need Guide suggestion

I have a customer who wants me to replace all the guides on two custom casting Bass rods that he has had problems with. (I didn't make em) His complaint is that the rings keep falling out of the frames. He has tried glueing them back several times. He wants me to buy new guide sets. I haven't been doing this long enough to be really familiar with all the guides that are available. My question is... I want a light framed guide that does not have much problems with losing the inserts. Any suggestions....Which guides are the best in this respect? Thanks in advance
Steve

Do you know what guides are on there?
I myself like the Forecast and Fuji guides. Sounds like he may be hard on his rods??

I've NEVER had a guide warranty issue with Fuji's, but have with some of the other "offshore" imports. Look at their "NLG" (NLG, BNLG, BNLG-H, GNLG) with Hardloy rings, or "NSG" (NSG, GNSG, TNSG) with SIC (carbide) rings.

If the customer's really hard on his gear, try a flanged ring like a BHNLG or HNSG. There's a considerable weight difference on these though.

Get the Fuji Concept Guides (LNSG-dbl-foots) and use matching fly guides for the running guides. Either Alconite or SiC rings will work great.

Definately Fuji. I like the LVSG or SVSG. Never had one fall apart on me yet.
