Hi!
I'm hoping you can help me out: I'm making two #10 rods, one #11 rod and one #12 rod, all of them 9 feet. For these rods I am going to use some Recoil Snake Guides and Recoil Single Foot Guides for heavy duty/saltwater use. I have two Double Foot (stripping) Guides and I am missing two Snake Guides and 5 Single Foot Guides for each rod - the size on Guides the I need is "oversize". I cannot get these in Denmark and so I'm hoping you can help me out by telling me what sizes I need (and if possible also the size in milimeters or inches). I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards, Jim. Re: Recoil Guides?

I would have no idea what size would constitute an "oversize" guide. I assume oversize is something larger than you actually need, since the proper size would be whatever works the best . But I don't know what context you're using this term in. Perhaps somebody else will chime in with some ideas.

Hi!
Suppose you wanted to make a rod for saltwater fishing, then you would put larger eyes on than if you were making a rod for freshwater, that's what I mean by oversize. What size do you think I should use? Kind regards Jim Re: Recoil Guides?
