Need guide info

A friend gave me a used Berkley Series One casting rod which was missing a tip top. I am converting it to a bumper spiral wrap. I need to purchase a tip top and a double foot guide for the bumper. The problem is that I have never seen guides as tiny and skinny as these are. What are they? Is anybody familiar with these guides on this Berkley rod. To show you how small they are....the tip top has a shaft ID of .112 and the smallest single foot guide has a ring ID of .208 and it's OD is just .297. I haven't ever ordered guides yet so I really don't know what I need. So far I have been able to scavenge eyes from old busted rods to re-do several rods. Haven't done a total build yet.....emphasis on YET...LOL

I believe that Janns Netcraft carries the line of guides that Berkley uses. There is a link to them on the left. I'm not sure what sizes you are looking for, but tip tops are measured in 64ths of an inch (ID) and guides are measured in mm's of the outside ring diameter.

Hi Steve,
If you haven't got a tip gadge yet get one. Flex-Coat makes one as well as others.
You can measure blank tips for the correct tube size needed and also measure tip
tops and ferrules. They only a few bucks and much easier than calipers.
Several of the sponsors carry them and they help support this site.

Good luck with the bumper conversion!
