Help I am finishing a rod and my color is getting so dark that you cant see it against the black the cor that i am useing is
Gudebrod Size D #245 Nylon Royal Blue Will it dry back to the original color Help Thanks in advance Re: thread color

Hi Casey.. If you are using NCP thread you are probably OK. If you are using Plain or raw thread and didnt use a color preserver then it will probably stay dark. Re: thread color

Casey, if its not NCP it'll probablly stay dark. When it drys take it out side in the sunlight. #245 with no preserver is a great look. Re: thread color

If you want thread to stay the same color as on the spool, you need to use Color Preserver. Just curious what size/type rod are you using D thread on??
