He lives in Florida, enjoying retirement. A past issue of Rodmaker magazine featured an interview with Dale Clemens, probably done about a year ago.

Actually, he lives in North Carolina, about 2 hours down the road here. He's heavily involved in wood turning and doesn't do much with fishing rods these days. But he keeps up with the craft - he subscribes to RodMaker.

Sorry for the misinformation. Last time I talked with him, he was living on Marco Island in Southwest Florida. I also heard that he had a home somewhere in the Land Between The Lakes area,
