test casting help,need input

There is got to be a way to keep guides lined up when test casting.I thought I had found a solution but it didnt work out.Rubber bands ,masking ,electrical ,packing and duct tape, the guides still move under the tape. I'm talking single foot 6and 8s.Wire ties too heavy weighs the rod tip down.I know someone has a solution. How about it? Perhaps I need to develope some skills in guide taping? Thought of wrapping them on but how could you adjust them and try different guide locations?

Maybe cut small pieces of shrink tube. or cut some small id rubber tubing like surgical tubing.

Hi Bill,
Like Doc said, electrical shrink tubing works great! Comes in many diameters!
I use it all the time. I'm going to try the surgical tubing one of these days because
I think it will be cheaper. Also reusable.
