Just want everyone to know what a great guy Bob Meiser is. I vacationed in Oregon this summer. Part of my itinerary centered on visiting Bob Meiser's shop in Medford. Bob, you are a gracious host. Not only did I spend half a day in Bob's shop, but Otto and I also went to the river with Bob to cast and try different lines on our respective rigs. Bob freely shared pointers and tricks of the trade and I know that my rod building skills immediately improved, just by watching and listening My casting has improved, too. Bob, I know I thanked you personally, but I hope you don't mind me thanking you publicly as well. Thanks for the time and expertise shared. Rodbuilders are a great bunch of folks and Bob, you're one of the best.
