Does a guide spacing chart work the same on a four piece blank as it does on a two piece blank? I am a little worried about where the guides fall on my four piece project as they did on my last two piece. Do the ferrules come in to play here? If I wrap close to one ferrule and not on another, does that have any impact? I'm building on a Dan Craft FT905-4.
Thanks in advance! Re: Guide Spacing

First thing I would do if you know the color of thread you will use is to wrap each femail furrel. This way there will be no splitting of them when teasting the guides.
A factory chart is a good place to start. Then place a - I use fly line - though the guides and static test - this is in the Libarary Page up top. Some will say place a guide near each furrel for safety, others say it does not mater, personal preference. Good thing to do if you can is talk to Dan Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
