Would like some input on the Lamiglas Ti2000/IM700 blanks.
Are they as sensitive as they claim? More so then ST. Croix scV or Lumoos IMX blanks?
How about the wieght are they heaver or lighter?
Are they worth what they ask?

Depends on your application. If isn't a slack or near slack line presentation than you're in business. It is however impossible for the blank built from any material to amplify of increase in sensitivity as they have stated in some publications. It defies the laws of physics. I've liked the ones I've fished, I've also liked the rods from the blanks above.

So Spencer, how do you feel about this comment made in teh AMTAK Handle thread above?

"When mounting it on the arbors, leave space between them. It creates a sound chamber that really amplifies the bites. "

I have never heard a fish bite unless it was smashing a surface lure!!

On the Lamiglas Titanium blanks they are best fished in depths of 20' or more. They are very sensitive and I have customers that special order the spin blanks in 6'6'M & ML action for drop shotting. I have one customer that took out one I had made up for using jigs and it was a medium action casting rod and he used a 1/4oz jig and couldn't believe just how sensitive it really was. So yes these blanks are very sensitive.
