Wholesalers that drop ship(for free)

I'm looking to do some bussiness with a wholesaler that will drop ship packages for me. I know of one right now that will, but there is a $10 fee for it, and, if possible, I'd like to find some place that could do it for less...or free. I mean, they have to mail it to somebody, why would it cost so much more to not mail it to me...and there is no other work on their behalf. Does anybody have a recomendation. Thanks.

Manufacturers aren't set up to service individual rod builders. They don't want to act as warehouses for their customers. They prefer to ship large orders to a few distributors/wholesalers who then ship to the individual customer. I know of one blank company that became disgusted by having to constantly drop ship small orders directly to rod builders. It was eating them up financially and they would have had to hire additional labor in order to continue doing it. They instituted a fee for drop shipments, and when this still didn't curtail the practice, they just cut it out all together.
