Maybe we can meet up at night, maybe even, ugh!!! do a nite Bluefishing trip. That will be a first for me, and probably a last, lol. I live in Staten Island now, but spend most of teh weekend in Brooklyn because that's where teh games are played. Contact me before you swing up here.

Billy V: You betcha ! I'll let you know in advance. Me getting a car may be the hardest thing. Nite trip for blues sounds good to me. Or, if you have a pass to Fort Wadsworth, or if access to under the Verazzano can still be had thru the fences along Cliff Street, that could be a trip. We used to fish the (South Beach?) storm drains, too. That was great place to sit and soak bait while talking. Never made it to Great Kills - I guess that's a springtime thing? -Cliff Hall

I live a 2 minute walk from teh storm drain in Midland Beach (on Midland Ave). Nobody is allowed under the VZ or in that area since the WTC. I've been fishing all of 4 times this year, so I have no idea how it's been by teh drains. E-mail direct & I'll answer from work on Monday.

Cliff,

Regardless of whether I agree with you fully or not, I'm very grateful for your time in posting. Obviously you are putting quite a bit of thought into this process - and that is good. That you are generous with your time to share, that is great!

Thanks,
Mo
