I have used all three. I consider REC to be the gold standard with Struble close behind. Pac Bay, well that is another story. Not in the same class as the other two. I have also used Bellinger and they make a nice product. I prefer to use colorful and highly figured wood inserts and REC has always provided exceptional pieces.

I think you need to add 'Golden Witch' to your list of top names for reelseats. Ralph If at first you don't succeed, go fishing, then try, try again. Re: comparative study

Venneri has some very nice seats. Also check out the nice Batson's Nickel silver seats. I'm a fan of REC and Struble as well. Re: comparative study

I have been pleased with the seats I have received from Inserts by Les (listed on sponsor board). From the "big" names, REC is my top choice. Give Les a try, he does nice custom work.

Last time I ordered seats I ordered Bellingers. Couldn't be more happy with them.
Rec is a good choise too. Cheers, Sakari Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
