I just replaced a few guides on the butt section of my PacBay 2wt. I usually wipe down the general area with wet wipes and spray the area with a water mist to tame the dust. I had a few long cardboard boxes laying around so i figured I would try covering the blank with the box to keep dust out. It worked great and my wraps look excellent.
I left the side near the reel seat open as I hand turn my rods. I also wiped down the inside of the box with a wet wipe. I am now going to build a plexi-glass or plywood 3 sided box with a hinging door that I can place over my drying rods. The hinged door will allow me to open it and turn the rod 180 degrees every 10 minutes. Give it a try if you are having trouble with the dust gremlins! Lou Re: EZ Dust Control Box

I do the same thing . I made a 7' long drying box (no heat) using 1" thick blue foam insulation sheets.....Very cheap and easty to make. Plan to make a big airbrushing box out of the same stuff.
