Scratches in a black reelseat

I am not so fond of black reelsets. I think they get easily scratched. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to cover these small scrathes?

I would think a fine auto polish would do the trick - watch out for silicons in any polish, you may get fish eyes in the finish if you have not wraped it yet Re: Scratches in a black reelseat
