I just attempted my first "big" weave today. It came out so-so, but it was a big mess and I am not satisfied by the overall look. Anyone have any step-by-step instructions on how to build a loom of some sort to keep the threads separated and snug??? Any advice would help tremendously.......Thanks in advance!......................Andrew Mason Re: Weaving Loom

I am sure Tom has something on how to make your own jigs. If not someone on the board must know where the article is published on making your own jig. If you have trouble getting the info then I will try to explain how I make mine. Beleive it or not I now use a jig to make my jigs. Just email me if you cant find the info. Re: Weaving Loom

Andrew, buy one of Doc's Jigs I made my own at first, but they don't compare to the foam and other goodies that keep the threads apart that you can find on Doc's. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/19/2005 05:02AM by Myles Boon. Re: Weaving Loom

Hi Andrew,
Myles has just given you some good advice. Summer Moon carries both Doc Ski's and Kel's jigs. Our link is on the left. Ed Re: Weaving Loom

Merrick Tackle's website has some photos of a jig in the new item section under
"Get Creative with Weaving". You will find the link in the top right hand side of our homepage. We carry Doc Ski's loom, Kel's jig and the Wonder Weaver by Renzetti. Scott Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
