Fellow Rodbuilders:
What is the best source for weaving patterns ? I am looking mainly for patterns of Billfish, Tuna, Tarpon and Snook and other common saltwater species. I know that M-Hole lists a wide variety, I would like to hear your experience with these or with other brands, and if they could be scaled down or up easily ? Thanks again for your inputs Ricardo Re: Sources for Weaving Patterns

Ricardo,
It's funny that you asked this because I did a search this morning on the same topic. I found this thread to be of help. [www.rodbuilding.org] I've never used the M-Hole patterns, however, look kind of cheesy IMO based on the pics on the website. Scott Re: Sources for Weaving Patterns

Doc Ski has all kinds of patterns. If he's not fishing he'll probably answer this thread. Re: Sources for Weaving Patterns

I would say Doc has the best variety, his cd is easy and simple to follow also. Re: Sources for Weaving Patterns

Thanks to all:
After reading your suggestions, I sent an Email message to Doc. Ski, who immediately replied with a catalog with a sample of impressive quality weave photos at significantly lower prices that other places on the net. I took the opportunity to inquire him on other aspects of rod building, and I was pleased with his responses. Doc. A public GRACIAS ! to you too.
