Stardust Haze

Hi-
The old Clemens company used to sell a glitter called 'Stardust Haze'. It was a finely cut and separated copper/copper alloy (so it said on the vial) that showed as a silver micro-flake in the finish. Does any one supply any microflake like it? I haven't tried the Flex Coat yet because I can't find the glitter w/out the finish.
Thanks,
Mark

Try a local craft store like Michael's or Hobby Lobby. You'd be amazed at the variety of "glitters" they offer. Most any of them will be fine used in your epoxy finish, just remember that a very little will go a long, long way. In my own opinion, the finer the granules or glitter, the better.

Flex Coat also sells glitter in a kit with their rod finish. It's great for using on wraps and also on lures.
Use "ultrafine" glitter found in craft stores. They usually come in 1 oz bottles and some of the better colors are gold, opal and blue violet which looks great on black wraps and as Tom suggested a little goes a long way.

Michaels or JoAnn's Crafts have "Ultra-Fine" glitters that work great. Just make sure you get the ultra fine (almost "dust") and use sparingly
