I have seen posts in the past that some of you use the Gudebrod Ready to use Rod Finish for repair work. How long from time of application is it ready to go?? Guy is leaving on a trip late tomorrow night, can he take the rod if I put a coat of it on tonight?? He won't be fishing it for a couple days

A quick "TEMPORARY" repair can be done with 5 min. epoxy over the guide wrap. This was pretty common as a quick fix when I worked at a tackle shop in 88' and 89'. Jesse Re: Gudebrod Ready to Use finish

The Gudebrod stuff will be hard within 24 hours. I use it on repairs and just for that reason. Re: Gudebrod Ready to Use finish

Permagloss is also a 'quickie', especially in this 80% humidity. Re: Gudebrod Ready to Use finish

I know you're as anal as I am about mixing and measuring, so it'll be OK! Putter Williston, ND Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
