Old reel seats

My father-in-law got some old casting rods (60's) with metal reelseats. The seat has some kind of quick-lock. You just press backwards on a button with the thumb, place the reel, and release the button and it slides over the rear end of the reel foot. The blank does not go through the seat, it's glued to each end.
Anyone familiar to this type of reel seat and knows where to buy one?

Found a picture as well

Thanks bill, i'll ask him.

The reason i'm asking is that hes has made a repair of his own on his favourit rod wich wont last long i believe, so i'm planning on having a rod ready for him when it breaks next time.

The picture shows an ABU handle / reel seat , True Temper made the same type reel seat / handle. If the real seat / handle are broken , one might be able to replace it , by looking around flea mkts. or yd .sales. If not a modern reel seat / handle could probably be used, all you need to do is match the fitting with the shaft.,it would be the old dependable rod with a "new" handle / reel seat.
