Bug Fogger affect on Rods

Stupid question.

My dog lives in my shop. This is a flea year. I need to fog the upstairs. There are a bunch...(lots) of rods on stands, hanging from the ceiling, on the wall etc..

will the fogger mess the rods up ?

I wouldn't think so, but I can't say emphatically that it won't. Check the label on the package and see what it recommends. I doubt it will mention fishing rods by name, but I think any cautions will be more concerned with edible items than hardgoods. Not that it might not leave a film of some sort on the rods themselves, but I don't think any damage will be done to them.

It might be time to drop the manufacturer of the fogger an email and see what effect the stuff has on paints, surfaces, etc.

Be safe, take them down, you may have to wash them after?
